Facebook or Google+ ?

The latest buzz around is about Facebook going premium and how it is going to charge its members money for their account . On the other hand Mark Zuckerberg claims on his twitter account that Facebook will always remain free. I doubt Facebook will ever charge its users with the user loyalty they have generated over the years, Facebook has become the homepage of many of the web users.

I remember the days when Farmville was a hit, it still is. We used to get up in the middle of the night to check if the crops in the field have grown, we din’t want to lose money and let them get spoilt. It was giving the actual farming experience. Even now there are few games and applications which are addictive and give the same feeling.

Wherever you are in the world, you want to get back home and the first thing you do after switching on your laptop is to check facebook and your notifications. The groups which help you keep in touch with your classmates while doing your assignments late night add brownie points to the Social Networking website.

A new kid is on the block, its none other than our Google’s own “Google + “ initially it was only giving limited access to people who were invited by others but now it has become public and heavy registrations are taking place. The buzz around is, if Google + is going to beat Facebook? Will people still come to Facebook after exploring and getting flexible with the new social networking toy “google +” ?

Well for that we’ll have to wait and see. For now , In my opinion – Facebook has established itself and is a brand in itself and people will no matter what come back to Facebook at the end of the day. What happens in future, only time will say!

People who shape our lives

When you first meet a person you start perceiving things about him. These perceptions with time prove either right or wrong.

Most of the times what we think about the person before knowing him turns out totally opposite when we get to know him personally. A person who looks cold hearted, rude and hot headed turns out to be someone as soft as a cotton. Sometimes people whom we hate in the beginning become our favorite and most loved. Our parents, who scold us, criticize us when we do wrong don't do it because they want to hurt us, they do it because they want us to learn. If nobody cared we would never know where we went wrong and where are we supposed to work on ourselves.

Similarly, Teachers are our second parents, they love us just the way our parents do. They take care of us, scold us, criticize us, love us and support us. Our life wouldn't be worth a penny had they not been there for us. Whatever we are today and whatever we will be in future is and will be only because of our teachers/mentors. The way our parents teach us to walk holding our hand our teachers make us walk to compete against the world, to fight, to be different . While doing this they inculcate ethics and values in us. Mostly teachers who are very strict with their students are also ones who love them the most. They shape our lives and try to make it perfect from each angle.

A Teacher is someone who is a guide, support, counselor and motivator to each one of us. More than all of this a teacher is a friend. They guide us towards the right path, motivate us to do better. It is they who make us believe in ourself, they who teach us to keep trying and believe in us. Most of the times, we try harder to achieve a goal just because we know that if we didn’t they would be more hurt than us. When we bring smile on their face it is the moment of satisfaction, we feel we actually achieved something. Their immense faith and trust in us is what makes us work hard and do better each day.

Just like Parents love us unconditionally, our teachers do the same. No matter what you do, they’ll always be there to love you, hold your hand and teach you which path to take. Always there to give you that extra push needed when you think you “can’t” and when they make you believe u “CAN”.

Life

Why do people ever argue? Why are there times when even after having immense trust on someone we fail to believe that person? Why do sometimes even after knowing a person in and out, we doubt if we really do? Why does life sometimes seem so painful?

Life gives us many such experiences when people we know suddenly turn out to be totally unknown to us. A person may sometimes exhibit certain qualities which is absolutely unrelated to his/her personality. It is very difficult to differentiate between people like these and those who are genuine and fake.

A lot of times we refrain from speaking the truth because it would hurt people around us, but we fail to realize that by not conveying the truth we are being enemies of our loved ones ourselves. A person who speaks the truth to his/her friend is a true friend. A Friend would never lie to you,if something is not right a friend says that it isn’t and not lie just to make the other person happy.

Sometimes truth comes in between people and thus gives birth to altercations. Sometimes these altercations get so worst that it becomes very difficult to instill the feeling of positiveness and friendliness back again into people. We often have altercations/arguments with our friends, parents, siblings or our better half. Most of the times this takes place due to misunderstandings, also when there are people you know in and out and suddenly you discover the person to be a fake. The trust factor gets a beating here, everything slows down and then you start wondering if people really are trustworthy or worth believing in.

Life isn’t a bed of roses, even if we believed this statement, it wouldn’t be true because every rose carries a thorn in itself, it grows with a thorn and in the end the thorn can leave a scar. No matter how long it takes, a wound will heal after sometime but a scar never heals, a scar remains for life.

In life, we should always make sure that we do not hurt anyone by our actions or words. Like Time once gone never comes back, words and actions are two things which we would never be able to undo and erase no matter how badly we would want them to and a scar left once will never leave.

So whatever one does, at the end of the day try to erase all the bad or negative things out of your system and live with the memories which bring a smile on your face, because life is too short to cry over what happened, the best way to live is to forgive , forget and move on.

Loneliness - A Disease

Ever wondered why in the midst of thousands of people you start feeling lonely? Ever thought why even after having so many people around you still don't feel your own self? Why it becomes so hard to express what is hidden deep inside?

Most of us have experienced this feeling called "Loneliness"

It is such a feeling that each day when i wake up i pray to God to keep me away from this feeling,if you name it,it is a feeling but if u ask me it is a disease rather than a feeling. A disease which each one of us run away from and try to avoid.

Sometimes we're all so happy n cheerful but then there comes a day when suddenly everything seems so dull, colourless, meaningless, all that we do is start thinking of all the things that we shouldn't be thinking of,suddenly whatever someone said starts bothering us and we start giving importance to all the negative things.

We'll tell ourselves and others that somethings don't bother us but we're lying, when the feeling of loneliness strikes in,those same very things start bothering us. Everyone around us seem so unimportant,we want to be left alone and want to think over things which we shouldn't be thinking of.

Why does suddenly everything seem so dull?
This mostly happens when we are too dependent on others,When we expect too much and the opposite happens.

When we are jealous of someone else being with our loved one or a friend,When we start feeling that the world suddenly doesn't need us anymore.

The mere thought of loneliness kills us from within, its easy for us to talk about loneliness or think of isolation as a solution for a certain problem but only the person who has gone through it knows the real dreaded feeling.

Sometimes isolation gives us answers to most of our problems, it gives us the strength to think about our life and reason things out but sometimes it kills.

The only solution to keep away from such thoughts and from getting involved into such things is to keep oneself busy, if a person keeps himself/herself busy he/she won't have time to think about negative things and life would be much simpler and better.

People and Life

In life we come across many people, some stay, some leave, some become our best buddies and some share such a relationship that they become a part of your family and life. There are some people who would want to bring you down, people who can’t see others happy or succeeding in their life, these are people who are not aware of the happenings around them and even if they are aware of things happening around them they chose to behave ignorant and try to ignore everything and everyone around. All they care about is themselves and how they can do better and succeed in life, every step that you take towards perfection they will try to bring you down and try to act as a friend, even though they would exactly be the opposite.

A lot of people will claim to be your friends talk with you in sugar coated words and the moment you are out of their sight they will talk everything against you or as we say become back stabbers, these are people who are not worth your trust nor your friendship. A lot of times it will happen that, people whom you hurt the most will be the ones who would come to be with you when you need someone the most.

Many a times it so happens we don’t care about people around us, we only realise their worth when they leave. It is difficult to predict a person’s future action, every individual needs special care and attention, if they don’t get it, they would slowly move away from you to a better place, to a better someone to a better world where there would be people who would appreciate them, love them and care for them.

Every individual needs love and affection, if a person says he/she doesn’t need it, it is a mere lie. In life we go through a lot of ups and downs, that is how we learn, work on our mistakes and improve. We din’t learn to walk in one go, we went through different stages, we fell down, got hurt, but at the end of the day we did learn to walk.

In life we need to balance ourselves the same way, if there is a problem there would be a solution as well, there is no problem which can’t be solved, everything has a reason behind it and the reason we go through these ups and downs is to balance our life, to learn how to handle situations, to know how and when to react to a particular situation. Life would be boring without any challenges, it would not have been worth willing if we didn’t have to fight for something.

A little child is always present in each one of us, a person no matter how old he/she grows, the child always remains in there and it does come out at times and no other feeling is better than being a little child, living life without having to think about the responsibilities, expectations and duties that we have .

Life is too short, express yourself to people you love, live life as it comes, you never know “IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES” things which are inside you will always be buried deep inside, let the people around you know what they mean to you and how much they are worth and how life without them would be incomplete and boring.

Unconditional Love

The other day while travelling I came across this board which had this great thought written “A Child gives birth to a Mother”, I didn’t quite get the meaning of it then and thought it was rather stupid or didn’t make sense, but when I thought over it i realised that the statement was so very true.

When a child is born he/she gives birth to a “Mother”, in the same way when we were born we gave birth to our mother, as we came into this world we brought along with us an identity and gave birth to a new relationship, a wife became a mother and a husband became a father.

A child with the birth brings along with him/her a lot of happiness, gives birth to new relationships. Slowly as we grow up , passing the phases from being a toddler to a teenager and from a teenager to an adult, we are mostly dependent on our Parents, with time we start taking decisions on our own, we want to become more independent as each day passes, the dependency which we loved and craved for earlier becomes an embaressment to us, we feel embaressed to be dependent on our parents, slowly we become very conscious about what people would think about us or how a certain person would behave or react towards our actions.

It is the world which starts to matter more to us than our parents, we want to be known as independent individuals and not as a “mumma’s boy or girl” as they call it, But in all this we neglect something which is very important to each one of us as an individual, as a child, as a daughter or as a son, we tend to forget to thank our parents for the love and affection they have given us throughout the years, from the day one of our life.

Our parents who made sure we went to the best possible school, wore the best clothes, parents who were hurt and panicked when we fell, parents who taught us to walk, who always were there and continue to be there and help us with that extra push in our life while we make a decision . Why does it happen many a times that we tend to take their love and affection for granted?

Why does it so happen that suddenly their love and affection becomes embaressment to us infront of our friends? How can a stranger replace their place in our heart? How can someone else be so important to us than our very own parents? How can even this thought arise in our head? How can people forget those 9 months a mother keeps the child in her womb?

Parents are to be valued, loved and looked after, it is our duty to take care of our parents as they grow old,to understand them and be their friend as they grow old,we need to be patient and deal with them with love and affection the way they took care of us when we were babies. No matter how much you hurt your parents, they would still love you for who you are, no matter how bad or inhumanely you treat them.

Their Love is just Unconditional.

Misunderstandings

Misunderstandings are a part of everyone’s life. There wouldn’t be a single person who wouldn’t have faced a situation where he/she would have not been misunderstood.People often misunderstand the ones who are close to them, they fail to realise that “trust” plays an important role and not something that they have heard from someone else or may have felt without being told about.

Trust and understanding are the two most important factors in a relationship, if your relationship lacks trust and understanding, it won’t take long before a third person creates misunderstanding and the relationship becomes a past tense.

Believing others blindly can also lead to pain and suffering, Many a times we trust people too much or rather say believe them blindly and those people turn out to be fake and not keep up with the expectations, when the trust breaks its very hard for a person to start and trust that very same person again.

In life it is very important to listen to someone and reason out rather than snap at someone without finding out the exact reason behind a changed attitude or behaviour.

“It hurts when someone you know becomes someone you knew”

So treasure your friends and loved ones, do not break a relationship just because you think or heard the person broke your trust, rather sit down and try and work out the relation before its too late because we live just once and death is unpredictable, if that person is no more in the world tomorrow we will only regret for not having believed or not having expressed our feelings and that feeling would remain in the deep corner of our heart forever and we would only be saying “I wish I had…..” or “Only if i had …..”.

Because people once gone, don't come back again.
